PILGRIM DESCENDANT

Mrs. E. J. Shepardson Dead; Sister of North Easton Music Teacher.

Descendant of one of the Mayflower's band of Pilgrims and sister of John E. Shepardson of North Easton, who was for many years teacher of music in the public schools of Brockton, Mrs. Esther Jane Shepardson died at her home in North Attleboro, Saturday, aged 84. Mrs. Shepardson was a member of one of Attleboro's oldest families, and was born July 22, 1825, the daughter of Jonathan and Esther Shepardson. Besides John E. Shepardson, the brother, she is survived by one son, Frank L. Shepardson, a former selectman of Attleboro; a sister, Mrs. W. R. Cobb of Attleboro, and another brother, Henry A. Shepardson of Walpole. She was married Isaac Shepardson, who died several years ago.
