James P. Flynn

STOUGHTON, March 4. — James P. Flynn, 63, of 16 Sanhican drive, Trenton, N. J., died suddenly Friday. He was a native of Stoughton, the son of Timothy and Ellen (Mears) Flynn. He served many years as superintendent of a rubber factory. He leaves six brothers: John F. of Brockton, Timothy A., Jerome A., and Edward of Stoughton, William A. of Millis and Charles P. Flynn of Los Angeles, Cal. 

The funeral will be from the home of his brother, Timothy A. Flynn, 211 School street, Stoughton, Monday morning at 8 o'clock, followed by a solemn high mass of requiem in the Immaculate Conception church at 9. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre cemetery, Stoughton.

Mrs. Annie M. Young

Mrs. Annie M. (Morse) Young, widow of Charles Young, 9 Torres avenue, died Friday at a local rest home after being in failing health for two years. 

She was a native of Salem, the daughter of John and Hannah (O'Neil) Morse. For many years she was a resident of Campello.

She leaves two brothers, William Morse of Brockton and George Morse of Avon; a sister, Miss Gertrude A. Morse of Brockton; and several nieces. 

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 8:15 at the funeral home, 403 Main street, followed by a requiem high mass in Our Lady of Lourdes church at 9 and interment in Avon.

Mrs. Gerena Aldene (Adams) Feener, 29 Grant avenue, widow of Henry F. Feener, died Saturday while visiting relatives in California.

She was born in Brunswick, Me., a daughter of the late Hiram and Mary (Snow) Adams. She was employed for several years as a clerk in Fraser's. 

Surviving is a son, Foreman Feener, with whom she made her home, and a grandson, Paul D. Feener.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 P. M. from the funeral home, 309 Main street. Interment in Melrose cemetery.

Mrs. Katherine Ryan

WHITMAN.—Mrs. Katherine A. Ryan, a resident of 47 Maple avenue, Whitman, for the past 12 years, died Sunday at a local nursing home after a long illness. She was in her 70th year. 

Mrs. Ryan, a native of Brockton, was the daughter of John and Mary (McDonald) Sharkey of that city, and resided there for many years before moving to Fitchburg. After the death of her husband, George E. Ryan, she returned to this area and took employment at the Commonwealth Shoe and Leather Co. until health forced her retirement. She had been kept to bed for the past two years. 

Mrs. Ryan is survived by a niece, Mrs. Evelyn Emery of Pembroke and three cousins, Misses Alice and Bertha Sharkey of Brockton and William Sharkey of Rheem, Pa. 

The funeral service will be held from the funeral home, 609 Washington street, on Wednesday, at 8:15 A. M., followed by a mass of requiem at 9 in the Church of the Holy Ghost, where Mrs. Ryan was a communicant. Interment will follow in Melrose cemetery, Brockton.
