DROPPED DEAD.
Mrs. Thayer Fell From Her Chair and Died at Once.
Mrs. Eliza Thayer, wife of Isaac N. Thayer, of Atherton court, died very suddenly at her home last night from an attack of heart trouble.
She seemed well and cheerful during the evening, and helped her five children to have a pleasant time. The children retired at 9 o'clock, and Mr. and Mrs. Thayer were alone. He was reading to her while she busied herself making a garment for one of the children.
Suddenly he heard a slight moan, and looking in her direction saw that she was falling. Before he could reach her she was dead. Medical Examiner Paine was summoned.
Mrs. Thayer had suffered with heart trouble since she was a girl, but had not had a serious attack but once before. That was four years ago. There are five children, the oldest 11 years and the youngest 3 years old. The funeral will be held at the house Thursday, with interment at Holbrook.
