IN 60TH YEAR

Mrs. Sarah Young Was Resident of City 25 Years

Mrs. Sarah Young, widow of James Young, died early this morning at the home, 22 Market street, in her 60th year. She was a resident of Brockton for 26 years and had many friends in the South End of the city. 

She leaves four daughters, Lucy Young, Mrs. Mabel Horton, Mrs. George Chase and Mrs. Gertrude Noseworthy; six sons, John, Ralph, James, Charles, Arthur and Chester Young, and a sister, Mrs. Matilda Boyle of Philadelphia. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 at the home. Interment will be in Pine Hill cemetery, West Bridgewater.

Leaves Ten Children

Mrs. Sarah Young, widow of James Young, died this morning at the home, 22 Market street, aged 59 years. She had lived here 25 years. She leaves four daughters, Lucy Young, Mrs. Mabel Norton, Mrs. George Chase and Mrs. Gertrude Nosworthy, and six sons, John, Ralph, James, Charles, Arthur and Chester Young, all of this city, and a sister, Mrs. Matilda Boyle of Philadelphia.

The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon and interment will be in Pine Hill cemetery, West Bridgewater.

Joseph T. Brazil

The funeral of Joseph T. Brazil, 25 Hemlock street, was held this morning from the funeral home, 419 Main street, followed by a high mass of requiem in St. Margaret's church by Rev. Edward M. Godfrey who also said prayers at the graveside in Pine Hill cemetery, West Bridgewater. Mrs. William F. McGowan had charge of music. Mrs. Edward Hallinan was soloist. Many friends and relatives attended including a delegation from the city highway department where he was formerly employed. An extra car was required for the floral tributes. Thursday night Rev. Msgr. Joseph Dunn led members of the Holy Name Society of St. Margaret's church in prayers at the funeral home.
