Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence W. Anderson, 16 Temple street, were called to Lexington, Va., Friday by the death of Mrs. Anderson's mother, Mrs. James W. Gillock, 205 South Jefferson street, Lexington, who died Friday morning of a heart attack. 

Mrs. Gillock leaves three sons and three daughters. Mrs. Anderson is the former Emmaline Gillock.

Funeral arrangements are not known.

STOUGHTON, March 4. — Miss Ethel F. Lucas, 71, of 21 Mallon road, Dorchester, died Friday after a short illness. She was born in Hyde Park, the daughter of Amasa and Fannie (Capen) Lucas. She spent her younger years in Stoughton, where she attended schools of the town. She is survived by a nephew, Howard A. Lucas of Dedham, and a niece, Mrs. Thelma C. Bishop of Weymouth. 

Services will be held from the funeral home at 115 Mont street, Stoughton, Monday, March 6, at 2 P. M., followed by interment in Evergreen cemetery, Stoughton.

The funeral for Mrs. Hannah A. McBride, widow of James F. McBride of 8 Hamilton street, was held this morning from the funeral home, 9 Chester avenue. A high mass of requiem was sung at St. Patrick's church. Rev. Lawrence P. Morrisroe was celebrant. A special car was required for flowers. Many attended. Bearers were Jerome Flynn, Francis Millette, Joseph Nagel and Edward Flynn.

WHITMAN. — Ralph C. Kent, 62, former resident of this town, died suddenly at Brunswick, Me., on Thursday. He had been in the real estate business before his retirement several years ago. Mr. Kent was a graduate of Whitman High school. 

Survivors include: One sister, Mrs. Elmer Taber, Brockton; one brother, Harrison Kent of Abington; several nephews and nieces. 

Funeral services will take place Sunday in Maine and a committal service will take place Tuesday morning at Colebrook cemetery, this town.

An extra car was needed this morning for floral tributes at the funeral for Liborio Sciore of 50 Howard square, held from the funeral home, 043 Main street. A high mass of requiem was sung at St. Patrick's church. Rev. Jeremiah J. Minihan was celebrant. The choir was in charge of the organist, Miss Grace M. Reardon. The mass was well attended. Interment was in Calvary cemetery.

MILFORD, July 16.—The funeral of Mrs. Adeline G. (Nailor) Prosser, sister of Mrs. Edna Brook of Brockton, who died suddenly Wednesday at her home here, will be held Saturday morning with a high mass of requiem at 9 o'clock in St. Mary's church. Burial will be in St. Patrick's cemetery, Whitinsville. 
She was born in Whitinsville, the daughter of Henry and Catherine (Kennedy) Nailor. She also leaves one son, Francis J. Prosser of Milford; two brothers, John Nailor and Patrick Nailor, both of Milford, and two other sisters, Mrs. Margaret Moriarty and Mrs. Enrico Catusi, both of Milford.

Mrs. Margaret E. Connolly, widow of Bernard R. Connolly, died early to-day. 

A native of West Bridgewater, she had lived in this city for many years. Her late husband was a well known realtor. During her younger years, she was interested in her home and the activities of her church. 

She was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Ellen Bowe. She leaves a son, Fred J. Connolly, a clerk in the local post office; a sister, Mary A. Bowe of Brockton, a grandson and a nephew. 
Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home, 165 Belmont street, Tuesday at 9:15 A. M. followed by a high mass of requiem in St. Edward's church at 10 A. M.  Interment is to be in St. Thomas Aquinas cemetery, Bridgewater.

There was a wealth of flowers, expressing the esteem of relatives and friends, requiring a special conveyance to take them to the grave in Melrose cemetery.

Herbert Riley, 51, former resident of this city, died at the Clinton Hospital, Saturday afternoon, following a brief illness. For many years, Mr. Riley was employed at a grocery store at Pleasant and Ash streets. 

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Annie Walker, New Bedford, Mrs. Lily Barnes, Fairhaven, Mrs. Elizabeth Fothergill, Brattleboro, Vt., one brother, John William Riley of Clinton; one son, Herbert R. Riley of Abington. 

Funeral services will take place at the funeral home, 465 County street, New Bedford on Tuesday afternoon.

WHITMAN.—Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie L. Young, Franklin street, were held from the funeral home, 670 Washington street, with Rev. Donald Mauck of the Methodist church conducting. Many relatives and friends were in attendance and an extra car was necessary to convey the many flowers to Colebrook cemetery where interment took place, with Rev. Mr. Mauck conducting the committal service. The bearers were Newell Peryer and Percy Wood of Vermont, Vernon Marshall and Donald Hannigan of Whitman. On Wednesday evening members of Lady Winthrop Lodge of Rebekahs No. 188 of Abington held their service at the funeral home.
